1. Are your programmes just for women over 50?

I do specialise in working with women over 50 but I have worked with younger clients and men. I offer a free consultation to work out if we are a good match for each other.

2. How much weight will I lose each week?

1 to 2 pounds per week is oft quoted as a healthy rate of loss. However, if you are 25+ stone, I’m sure your GP will tell you that you can safely lose more than 1 – 2 pound per week.

3. Will you ask me to fill in a Food Diary?

Neither FATnosis or Be Accountable are about food. With FATnosis, you will be given an 80/20 meal plan example in your first session to give you a good idea of how much you should be eating but the focus is on you and your motivation, and not the food. We do touch more on nutrition in Be Accountable but food is not the focus.

4. Am I not just better off paying £5 a week to go to a slimming club?

That of course is your choice and you must do what works for you. But, please consider the long term results slimming clubs have brought you. If you have paid out multiple £5 fees and purchased many shakes, hifi bars, branded products and magazines, have they given you value for money? Has the Slimming Club model worked for you? If you have returned more than once, I suspect not.

5. Can you guarantee that I will lose weight?

I can only guarantee that I will support you 100%. If you match that level of commitment and follow everything I tell you to do, you will lose weight.

6. What if I don’t lose weight?

On FATnosis, if you fail to lose weight in any one week and there are no exceptional circumstances, the programme will be terminated and you will receive a pro rata refund. Excuses are simply not accepted on FATnosis as excuses will always mean you stay fat. Be Accountable is more flexible and so you will almost certainly see fluctuations. Part of our work together is about teaching you how to sucessfully deal with blips and avoid the ‘oh well I’ve blown it this week so I may as well carry on eating’ scenario.

7. Will I have to exercise?

There are no specific exercises I will require you to do but moving more will help speed up your weight loss and make you feel more energised. As a qualified Leader in Running Fitness, I can certainly advise you on progression from walking to running through my You CAN Run! programme but running, no matter how enthused I am about it, is not compulsory.

8. Can I join your Running group? 

If you live near Sawtry (eqidistance between Huntington & Peterborough in Cambridgeshire), then you are welcome to come along to any of our sessions on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Its FREE for beginners and then just £20 a year to join the Club. Details can be found at Sawtry Walk To Run.

9. I am too embarrassed to go out, can this be delivered on-line?

Absolutely. I now deliver most of my sessions over Skype.

10. I live in the USA. Can you help me?

Absolutely. If you can Skype or get on Facebook Live, I can help you from anywhere in the world to build your confidence through weight loss. However, the laws of England and Wales will apply to all business and the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Will I be hypnotised?

Not in a lay back and relax type way – FATnosis is a dynamic programme delivered with passion and conviction. You will leave our sessions energised, not relaxed. Be Accountable is not hypnotherapy based but we do work on reprogramming your mind for success.

12. Can I pay in weekly instalments?

Yes, you can pay weekly in advance for FATnosis but Be Accountable is payable monthly in advance.

13. Are you full insured?

Yes I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

14. How can I make payment?

You can make payment via Paypal or by bank transfer, whichever you prefer.

15. Will you need to write to my GP?

For entry onto the FATnosis programme, if you suffer from epilepsy or clinical depression I will need to write to you GP, with your permission, before accepting you onto the programme to ensure hypnotherapy based methods and the FATnosis straight talking delivery style is suitable for you.

16. Do I have to provide you with before and after photos?

No. I absolute respect your privacy and there is no compulsion to provide before and after photos for publication.

17. Can we stay in touch after the Programme?

I will be more than happy to hear your positive stories after you have graduated. I can also offer some top up sessions further down the line if you feel you need a refresher or you have new goals.

18. Do you have a supervisor?

No, this is not counselling but I do have a mentor in Steve Miller, who with his team, ensures I meet the FATnosis professional standards. Steve is sometimes available to give you an extra boost during the 6 week FATnosis programme.
