Fake weight loss claims
Fake weight loss claims are everywhere. Being very overweight can make people feel insecure and so vulnerable to falling for the outrageous claims made by some companies.
An email I received this week said:
“The 2 Week Diet is an extreme rapid weight loss system that can help you lose up to 16 pounds of pure body fat in just 2 weeks!”
Maybe if you are super obese and spend 2 weeks on the Biggest Loser ranch but even then, most of early weight loss is water, not fat.
Losing vast amounts of weight fast is not a good recipe for keeping it off as this article about Biggest Losers contestants shows. The ideal is a couple of pounds each week but more importantly, it is not about the food, it is not about quick fixes or pink smoke, its about getting your head in the right place and really wanting to get rid of fat and live a slimmer life. Motivation and Mindset are key and that is why FATnosis works and quick fixes don’t.
Losing weight is never about the food.
